The Oceans

It's time to learn about Earth Science!
Our classmates taught us about violent weather, fossils, plate tectonics, 

and the layers of the atmosphere. 

Now it was mine, Nicole and Megan's turn to teach about the oceans!

To create our lesson, we had to conduct our own research on oceans to refresh our memory. While researching, we discovered that there are now five oceans instead of four. This ocean is called the Southern or the Antarctic Ocean. This was an important fact because we didn't think that our classmates would know this either. To begin our lesson, we showed a video that discusses each ocean, including the fifth one. After every couple facts about oceans, we asked them questions to check for understanding, just like we would in an elementary classroom!

We used a thinglink to organize and present all of our information. I've never used thinglink before and at first it was pretty confusing to use. Since we had so much information, it made our presentation look messy, so I would recommend using it if you don't have a ton of information to include on it.
